About Dr James Pimm
I have been a GP in the NHS since 1989, and treated many eczema patients. I have been impressed by the need to simplify treatment regimens, using just one compound bespoke cream, tailored to the individual.
Compound bespoke creams made for a patient typically contain diluted steroid, antibacterial, emollient, and soothing natural vitamin E rich oils. It follows broadly the principles of the Aron regime, developed by Dr Richard Aron, a renowned South African dermatologist.
Atopic eczema is a frustrating disease and flares are common. I make up creams for flares as well as for maintenance of healthy skin.
